About Me

Karen Ferguson
Founder of MindMotive
A lot of people spend years holding things together with nowhere steady to put what they’re carrying, especially when others rely on them.
The support I’ve created is designed to help exactly this.

Karen Ferguson is the founder of MindMotive.
She has over 25 years’ experience working in therapeutic and psychological support, practitioner development, and applied work with people navigating complexity, pressure, and responsibility. Her background includes long-term therapy work, training and supervising practitioners, and supporting individuals and groups through periods of change, strain, and decision-making in real-world settings.
Much of Karen’s work has involved working with people who are capable and functional on the surface, but carrying significant emotional or cognitive load underneath. Over time, this led her to question the limits of traditional one-to-one models when support is episodic, fragmented, or removed from how people actually live and work.
Her work evolved in response to what she repeatedly saw in practice: gaps between insight and integration, between support and sustainability, and between theory and lived reality. As a result, her focus expanded beyond individual sessions into developing tools, structures, and environments that help people think more clearly, reduce load, and make decisions they can stand behind.
MindMotive brings this work together. It encompasses therapy, practitioner support, Digital Partners, and retreat-based work, not as separate offerings, but as different responses to different needs. Not everything here is for everyone. The common thread is a grounded, practical approach shaped by experience rather than ideology.
Karen’s work is known for being steady, values-led, and rooted in what actually helps over time. It is designed for people who want depth without drama, clarity without simplification, and support that respects their intelligence and lived experience.
