About Me

Karen Ferguson
Founder of MindMotive
I build systems that give people a way to work through what’s on their mind, without waiting, without dependency, and without needing to fit into someone else’s model.
Karen Ferguson is the founder of MindMotive.
Her work is centred on creating Digital Partners that give people a way to work through situations, decisions, and challenges as they happen, without relying on appointments or fixed structures.
With over 25 years’ experience across therapeutic and psychological work, education, and applied support, Karen has worked with individuals and groups navigating complexity, pressure, and responsibility in real-world settings. Much of that work involved people who were capable on the surface, but carrying significant emotional or cognitive load underneath.
Over time, this led her to question the limits of traditional one-to-one models, particularly when support is episodic, delayed, or disconnected from how people actually live and work.
MindMotive was built in response to that gap.
Digital Partners provide a structured, consistent way for people to take what’s on their mind and do something with it, privately and in real time. They are used by individuals directly and implemented within organisations as a scalable, consistent form of support.
Karen’s work is grounded, practical, and shaped by experience rather than theory. It is designed for people who want something that works in real life, not just in principle.
